E-TADRIBAT MUZAKKAR WITH WORDWALL; ARABIC LEARNING IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Abstract: The traditional teaching methods, with the help of mere Arabic textbooks nowadays is believed to have less impact on Arabic language learning sessions. Due to this, a different approach is needed, and game-based online learning methods are seen to be widely used recently during the Covid-19 pandemic for Arabic language subjects. Therefore, it is important for lecturers and educators to provide interactive Arabic language teaching aids which is in accordance with the open and distance learning (ODL) process. Thus, this study aims to helps student and to introduce an application, E-tadribat Muzakkar with Wordwall as an alternative to the current teaching and learning method for Arabic language subject. In addition, this present study aims to identify the impact of E-tadribat Muzakkar with Wordwall on students’ achievements. Thus, a study was conducted, whereby participants among UiTM students were divided into two groups and each group were given a material. The first group were using textbooks meanwhile the other group were using E-Tadribat Muzakkar with Wordwall. Based on the results collected through a set of questionnaires, the respondents claimed that E-Tadribat with Wordwall is more attractive, easy, fast and user friendly as compared to its traditional counterpart, the textbook. It can be concluded that with its innovative and effective learning features, E-Tadribat Muzakkar with Wordwall increases students’ interest and motivation in learning and as a result, facilitates them in achieving greater results and mastery of the subject matter.
